Steve Eckert, Licensed Clinical Social Worker is a seasoned behavioral health services Chief Executive Officer who has deep expertise in serving children, youth and their families.

Steve is the new Chief Executive Officer of Alum Rock Counseling Center, a 44 year well respected and growing multiservice counseling nonprofit with 100 caring staff and 50 volunteers, serving 3000 children and families primarily in East San Jose in our clinic and in over 50 schools.

While at East Bay Agency for Children, he managed contracts with 30 different school sites, opened a health center, operated after school and family resource centers, and ran a therapeutic pre-school.

He subsequently led the largest behavioral health agency in the North Bay, providing behavioral health services for adults.

Steve has been engaged in fundraising for many years, and is very comfortable meeting with donors and funders.

Steve has been very active in county provider consortiums and state-wide associations, and is known and respected by peers in the East Bay, North Bay and around the State.
